At Murray McDavid, we understand the importance of maturation in the making of whisky. Using our many years of experience and the best oak casks from around the world, we create diverse styles of inspired Scotch whisky.

Our Whisky Creations Team travel the world in search of good wood. We select sherry casks from the bodegas of Spain, fortified wine casks from Madeira, port pipes from Portugal and a wide selection of wine barriques from Europe’s finest vineyards. We also seek out American oak barrels from bourbon makers in the United States and rum casks from distilleries in the Caribbean. We have exclusive wood supply agreements with our cask suppliers, such as the Koval Distillery in Chicago and the Murça wine cooperative in Portugal.
It’s our emphasis on getting the best casks and practising the Art of Maturation that makes Murray McDavid’s whiskies truly special.

SELECT GRAINS - Rarely bottled single grain whiskies

Grain whisky is usually made from wheat or maize and blended with malt whisky from barley. It is usually sweeter, gentler and less complex than malt whisky. However, when artfully matured and allowed to age

gracefully, it can produce outstanding Scotch whisky in its own right. We at Murray McDavid believe grain whisky deserves greater recognition, hence we bring to you a super standalone single grain Scotch whisky.
