Due to its royal warrant and limited production, Royal Brackla whiskies are highly regarded and sought after by whisky enthusiasts and collectors. They are often considered a hidden gem among single malt Scotch whiskies, offering a unique taste experience with a touch of royal heritage. In 1835, King William IV granted the distillery the right to use the "Royal" prefix in its name, making it Royal Brackla. Located in the Highlands of Scotland, the distillery is close to the Cawdor Castle. The castle has strong connections to Shakespeare's play "Macbeth" and is often associated with royalty and Scottish history.

Ledaig is the heavily peated version of Tobermory's single malt. It offers a more pronounced smoky and earthy flavor profile. Oak puncheons are larger oak casks or barrels with greater capacity than traditional whisky barrels. The larger size and reduced wood contact can result in a slower aging process and milder wood influence. This can lead to a whisky with a softer, more subtle oak character. Situated on the Isle of Mull, Tobermory is surrounded by stunning natural beauty, including mountains, sea, and lush landscapes. The distillery uses local water sources and traditional methods in its whisky production, emphasizing the use of natural ingredients.

The North British Distillery specializes in the production of grain whisky. Unlike malt whisky, which is made from malted barley and distilled in pot stills, grain whisky is typically made from grains like wheat or maize and distilled in continuous column stills. North British is situated at the west end of Edinburgh, near the Union Canal. Its location is relatively unique as many distilleries in Scotland are located in more rural areas. Often used in blends, this bottle is truly unique as it is a single-grain release drawn at cask strength with no added color or flavor.

As with all Blackadder expressions, there is no added color, and no chill filtration. Made with 100% domestically grown barley
Pot Still W is a single wash still whisky, made solely from the distillate produced by Shizuoka's initial distillation machine, Pot Still W. Japanese Barley 1st Edition marks the first bottling that uses 100% domestically grown barley malt as its raw material. Since its operation began in 2016, the Shizuoka Distillery has been brewing using domestic barley malt. While domestic malt is more expensive than foreign malt, it produces a delicate and sweet flavor. Please enjoy this Japanese whisky, a harmonious blend of the smoothness of direct wood fire and the lightness of Japanese barley.
There are only a limited number of direct-fire distillers worldwide, and among them, wood-fired distillers are unique. Local woodcutters split the thinned coniferous trees that overflow from the rich mountains of Shizuoka into firewood. Reviving distilling techniques from over 200 years ago, this whisky was distilled by burning wood. Today, most of the malt whiskies made worldwide do not specify the origin of barley. However, there is a rising demand for Distillers to use locally sourced ingredients. For this 100% Japanese Barley First Edition, Shizuoka prepares whiskey separately for each barley production area and makes whiskey that allows you to feel the terroir.
