This high quality XO Cognac has been aged 25-45 years. It is composed of eaux-de-vie distilled in 1969 by Gérard Drouet in his 4-hl still heated by wood and coal. It is to be savoured slowly in the company of experienced connoisseurs.
In our region of Charente, vines grow in clay-limestone soils favouring the production of grapes that are well suited to ageing. This led to the creation of geographical boundaries of six "crus", or production districts, within the controlled appellation area of Cognac, which was established in 1909.

This whisky is from a Vatting of casks of Single Malt Whisky. It has been finished in an Oloroso Sherry Butt - bottled without chill-filtration and there is no added color.
Black snake starts its life in first-fill ex-Bourbon casks. We then put three of them into new Oloroso or PX Butts and leave them for about a year for further maturation before bottling two-thirds of each cask. We call these casks 'Vats' as they are a kind of mini Solera.
After each bottling, we add two more ex-Bourbon casks, always of the same whisky, and leave for around a year before again bottling two-thirds of the Vat. All future bottlings from each vatting of Black Snake will therefore contain some spirit that was in the previous expressions from the Butt. From time to time the Butt is renewed.
Each time we bottle we call it Venom, as in the poison from a snake's bite. The first bottling from each Vat is called First Venom, and the second bottling is called Second Venom, and so on.

INVERGORDON SINGLE GRAIN, 34 YEARS OLD, STATEMENT EDITION
Blackaddder INVERGORDON Statement, Edition #46, is a very rare 34 year old single grain scotch whisky. There are only 269 bottles worldwide. Invergordon is a grain distillery situated north of Inverness on the Cormarty Firth. The absolutely massive distillery produces upwards of 40 million liters of pure alcohol per year thanks to their massive column still.
Their production of grain whisky is exclusively destined for the blends, but a few odd casks make it out of the blender’s repertoire and are bottled by Independents. Like so many things in whisky, with time comes greatness and these Invergordons are proof that grain has many facets.
The casks we reserve for Blackadder Statement are selected first and foremost for their excellent quality. A truly noble cask of single malt whisky is not just a matter of age and maturity. These qualities play their part, but so does the art of good cask management, combined with regular nosing and appraisal of the spirit. As they say, age is just a number!
We never chill or otherwise heavily filter our whiskies, nor is colour ever added to them. This is how we always bottled our whiskies and is how we always will. This is our promise to you -our Blackadder Statement. In the 30 year plus category we offer exceptionally aged and incredibly rare Scotch Whiskies based on the RAW CASK philosophy. The Cask is King! Bottled from single casks, no chilling, no heavy filtering and never, ever any caramel coloring or flavoring added. Never! And many have been lucky enough to discover barrel char in their bottles!
This rare single grain scotch whisky, from Invergordon Distillery, was drawn at cask strength from a single Hogshead cask. It was distilled in February 1988 and bottled in February 2022, in Scotland.

PEAT REEK RAW CASK FINISHED IN RECHARRED CASK
Blackadder's Peat Reek, Recharred Finish, is an exclusive 10 year old single malt scotch whisky. This exclusive USA release is a Glass Revolution Dram Hunter selection, with only 340 bottles available.
Peat Reek is the smell of burning peat, the flavours of which are imparted to malting barley as it is slowly dried while the smoky reek of the peat is drawn over it. For Blackadder Peat Reek, we select only casks of whisky produced using malted barley that has been heavily impregnated with the phenols and creosols of a gently-smouldering peat fire. On the front label, you will see that this offering has an official analysis of 21.2 PPM -which lets you know just how peaty your dram is!
Peat Reek Embers are specially-selected casks from our already well-known Peat Reek portfolio. These are casks that we feel stand out from amongst a selection of which we are already very proud. This in no way means we think they are better than others in the Peat Reek selection. All have the heavily-peated quality that is a hallmark of Peat Reek, but some of the Embers range have been given cask finishes selected to help further complement the whisky. As with the burning embers of a fire, the finish lingers long after the last sip.

Included in Clay Risen's 2020 book "The Impossible Collection of Whiskey: The 100 Most Exceptional and Collectible Bottles.” This extraordinary 30-year-old whisky is being released to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Velvet Revolution.
The Velvet Revolution was the non-violent transition of power in what was then Czechoslovakia, occurring from 17 November to 29 December 1989. This became the end of 41 years of one-party rule.Even though the barley was 100% Czech and the water used in production was from the Bohemia region, the biggest struggle was the peat that originated from the Czech region. At the time, it was almost impossible to find a peat of the desired quality, therefore a Scottish peat was imported with great effort during closed trade times.
PURE PROVENANCE - Whilst crafting Hammer Head, we use crystal clear water rich in iron and minerals from a Bohemian region, which positively influences the final liquid taste and overall experience in a way that only true whisky lovers will note.Much of the taste originates from our oak barrels, left to rest in a sleepy picturesque distillery. The stillness and fresh air in Pradlo, far away from the tumult of the city, enrich the flavour of Hammer Head.
DISTILLERS - Back in 1989, Vaclav Sitner was our Master Distiller. At that same time, Kristina Demelova worked alongside Vaclav to learn about his craftsmanship and expertise. Today, Kristina Demelova has proudly taken on the role of Master Distiller, always controlling the quality and the expression of Hammer Head whilst passionately guarding the knowledge of Czech single malt whisky production. That same passion runs through the family, as her father was the first Master Distiller for Hammer Head and the person who passed the knowledge to Vaclav.

The North British Distillery specializes in the production of grain whisky. Unlike malt whisky, which is made from malted barley and distilled in pot stills, grain whisky is typically made from grains like wheat or maize and distilled in continuous column stills. North British is situated at the west end of Edinburgh, near the Union Canal. Its location is relatively unique as many distilleries in Scotland are located in more rural areas. Often used in blends, this bottle is truly unique as it is a single-grain release drawn at cask strength with no added color or flavor.

UNPEATED SINGLE MALT. Amrut's newest release under the umbrella brand - 'Single Malts of India' to showcase some of the hidden gem malts of India.
Kurinji is a single malt eponymously sourced from the hills and exhibits traits that uniquely spring from the locale. Ancient Tamil texts, dating back to the Sangam period (300 BC – 300 AD), classify mother earth into five regions called Tinais, each associated with its distinct literary style, grammar, culture, and even cuisine. Sangam literature has documented the “Kurinji” in its Agam or love poetry. The inspiration behind our next expression is the exuberant Kurinji flowers, nestled in the hills of South India. This flower blooms once every 12 years (a phenomenon known as Plietesials), filling the lush greenery of the mountains with a purple shade as far as the eyes can see! As the water flows down the hill and so do the stories with it, every bottle of Amrut’s Kurinji encompasses the floral flavor of the purple-shaded mountains that it originates from.
