Our Cult of Islay pays homage to the island’s undeniably messianic spirit, with its huge following. A marriage of two legendary Islay malts, Bowmore and Laphroaig, paired with a luscious Lowland single grain whisky from the North British Distillery. Equal amounts of Islay malt whisky and single grain whisky, both aged for at least 32 years, creates a bewitching balance of alluring spirits. These are original Murray McDavid casks selected and married personally by Jim McEwan.
The adored spirit of Islay flows through this sensational dram. This is a blend of bourbon and Oloroso Sherry casks, displaying serious maturity and styles rarely seen in today’s world of whisky. A truly sublime blended Scotch – a dram to be worshipped! The old grain has viscosity which is smooth on the palate and balances the peat of Islay perfectly.
