Rarest of the Rare Series - When a whisky passes the thirty-year mark a substantial portion of the liquid has been shared with the Angels. In 2019 the Dram Hunters were scouring the Scottish countryside for rare pickings when this Cambus was presented. In only a moment we realized it would commemorate a special part of Dram Hunters lore. After pioneering single-grain whiskies, the Cambus Distillery was shuttered in 1993. This whisky is increasingly rare and exceptional. Double matured, it was aged 26 years in a first fill Bourbon cask then it was reracked into an Oloroso Sherry cask, June 27, 2018. Non-chill filtered, no color added, it was bottled Aug. 19, 2022, at cask strength.
