Very limited release -only 225 bottles worldwide. This Collector Cask Series, from Monymusk Distillers in Jamaica, is true cask to bottle. No water, additives, coloring or special filtering was used to achieve its rich coloring and flavors. 100% of this rum entered a single barrel 11 years before bottling, during which time only the Angels were allowed a hand in its crafting. Distilled 2007, using our own selected cask and bottled by us in 2018.

Bottle Tasting Notes
NOSE: Aromas of banana and some pineapple, but subtle. Some tarry ropes, briny sea spray, and slight liquorice. Fresh fruit, ripe pears, lime zest and a little strawberry. You'll notice some sweetness like golden syrup, chewy toffee or maybe butterscotch and a light vanilla. The aromas vary from fruity, to sweet and then back to savoury again.
PALATE: Great mouth feel, thick and weighty. Savoury start, olive brine, anise, tar and rubber. Some wood spiciness, followed by a bit of heat, with cloves, grated horseradish and black pepper. Baked pears with a light toffee glaze add a bit of sweetness, but it’s short lived. And finally, some lime notes.
FINISH: A medium, creamy finish with a bit of peppery heat. Soon you'll notice some sweet notes coming through, like golden syrup poured over oats, honey, pear and even a hint of sweet pipe tobacco.

The Rhumb line was the most common way to navigate port to port when rum came of age in the 1700's, shipping out of Caribbean ports to the American Colonies & Europe. Rhumb Runner pays homage to the sailors, pirates and traders who built its history, as well as those today who've recognized this great spirit is again rising to its glory.

Solera is one of the most common aging systems used for rums, however it misrepresents the true age of the rum in a bottle.
Essentially the age statement on a solera aged rum is the age of the oldest rum used, yet rums within the blend can be much younger than the age statement on the bottle.
With Rhumb Runner the age statement on the bottle is the true age of every drop of rum from the cask.
