Batch No. 001. Matured in Ex-Bourbon Casks and bottled at the historic Claxton's Dalswinton Bond in the Scottish Lowlands. This bottling puts grain whisky in the limelight and is an opportunity to experience a remarkable 30 year old dram from an under-recognized source. Claxton’s knows that mature grain whisky, aged in the best oak casks, can create an excellent dram.
This 30-year-old single-grain whisky has benefitted from traditional-style warehousing in the former grain stores of Sandbed Farm on the Dalswinton Estate. During maturation, grain whisky gains a distinctive flavour and draws its colour from the cask, enhancing the grain spirit’s distinctive characteristics.

Most of Mannochmore's production goes into blended whiskies, so we are happy to present this rare single cask bottling of a 7-year-old Mannochmore, taken from an Oloroso Sherry Hogshead. Enjoy exploring Mannochmore's distinctive and often overlooked character.
The name "Mannochmore" is derived from two Gaelic words: "mannach," meaning monk, and "mor," meaning big. This name refers to the site's history, as it was once home to a religious settlement and a religious figure's name was given to the location. The Exploration series focuses on single-cask releases with quality and accessibility in mind. This range encourages customers to explore the whisky regions that might otherwise have been inaccessible.

This was finished for a year in a First Fill Tawny Port Quarter Cask. The distillery's style is already rich and opulent whisky, adding this to a Tawny Port Quarter Cask adds fruitiness to the underlying spice.
Due to its royal warrant and limited production, Royal Brackla whiskies are highly regarded and sought after by whisky enthusiasts and collectors. They are often considered a hidden gem among single malt Scotch whiskies, offering a unique taste experience with a touch of royal heritage. In 1835, King William IV granted the distillery the right to use the "Royal" prefix in its name, making it Royal Brackla. Located in the Highlands of Scotland, the distillery is close to the Cawdor Castle. The castle has strong connections to Shakespeare's play "Macbeth" and is often associated with royalty and Scottish history.

Single malt Scotch whisky distilled in Orkney - though the exact distillery has been left a mystery! Very often from the flavor notes and the name given to the whisky in question, a lot can be deduced! The coordinates on the bottle can be typed into google maps to give you a clue where this whisky was distilled. Aged in a single hogshead for 8 years. The result is notes of honey, light peat, and toffee apples. Have fun with this tasty puzzle.
