Unlike commercial distilleries, they never chill-filter or add artificial coloring, allowing up to 70% of the whisky's flavor to develop naturally from the cask. Their signature "Raw Cask" series even contains tiny fragments of barrel char – visible proof of authenticity that whisky connoisseurs treasure.

A former journalist with a passion for whisky, Robin founded Blackadder International and created the renowned Raw Cask range. He also co-authored The Malt Whisky File.

Hannah Tucek

Growing up in the business, Hannah keeps the Blackadder team organized. Her appreciation for whisky blossomed after tasting a 30-year-old Glen Ord.

Michael Tucek

After a career as a chef, Michael brings his love for whisky to the family business. With his distillation knowledge and talent for nosing and tasting, he provides concise tasting notes.
